Spring New Release wines from Peregrine
It's exciting to see the first wines of the 2020 vintage available at our Cellar Door, with the release of the Peregrine Sauvignon Blanc 2020 and Peregrine Rosé 2020.
The season started dry and cool in Central Otago, followed by warmer temperatures throughout summer and a lovely ripening period in autumn. This resulted in smaller bunches and berries with lovely purity and intensity of flavour.
Hand harvest by the wider Peregrine team under the restrictions of Covid-19 level 4 lockdown - these wines are a true Peregrine team effort, and we are immensely proud to share them with you.
Also released on 1 October was the Peregrine Pinot Noir 2018 - a season which started with an exceptionally warm spring and was followed by record heat and sunshine hours over summer. Our earliest harvest to date, the 2018 vintage was rewarded with excellent ripeness and quality of fruit.
