Multi-vintage opportunity - winery, vineyard, sales
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our close-knit team in a diverse role spanning multiple vintages. This role is a fulltime fixed term position for 15 months, from March 2021 until June 2022, covering a range of winemaking tasks and responsibilities. Between vintages the applicant will have the opportunity to develop their wine industry skills in other areas of the business, with ongoing experience in our Biogro certified vineyard estate and/or retail sales in our architecturally award winning Cellar Door.
Peregrine Wines is a long established, privately owned Central Otago producer of premium wine. With organically managed estate vineyards across the Bendigo and Gibbston sub-regions, Peregrine produces award winning Pinot Noir and a quality range of white varieties. The wines are made at a contemporary styled and internationally recognised winery located in Gibbston, the highest altitude and most southerly vineyard region in New Zealand.
Previous winery experience and forklifting experience is preferred. Attention to detail and a focus on wine quality is essential, along with the ability to work in a tightknit team.
Only people eligible to work in New Zealand should apply for this position – please provide evidence of your citizenship or work visa.
Applications should include a brief cover letter, resume, and two referees we can contact if required, and must be lodged prior to Thursday 31 December 2020 in confidence to:
