TASTING NOTE: The 2010 growing season was long with warm days with cool nights providing perfect conditions for producing a classic Central Otago Pinot Gris. The fruit is 100% Central Otago sourced from the Cromwell basin and Gibbston sub-regions.

Individual vineyard lots were kept separate and cool fermented in stainless steel vats to retain fruit character. The wine was then left to mature on yeast lees to add extra mouth feel and complexity.

A classic Central Otago Pinot Gris made in a style where maintaining fruit freshness was paramount. The 2010 Saddleback Pinot Gris shows beautiful bright aromas of pear, quince and jasmine. An elegant palate that delivers flavours of white peach, nectarine and ginger. Lovely drinking now, this wine will continue to develop and impress over the next few years.
